TOPdesk – AFAS Hour Insights

What?

From TOPdesk we read the written time per person and from AFAS the person related time information, including leave and other absences. Also whether these are charged or are internal hours.

Why?

AFAS processes financial and person related information. TOPdesk is also used for registering time spent (on incidents, changes etc). However, it is not possible to easily compare this by hand.

With this scenario we combine the information and display it in 1 overview. This gives you quick and easy insight into worked versus contractual hours. We have a portal mode, so you can easily show this in the department or share it internally.

How?

We activate a Qixium environment and within 2 steps you can use the scenario!

Step1:

Within Qixium you activate the TOPdesk – AFAS Hour Insights scenario and you follow the setup wizard. The setup wizard helps you fill in environment-related information and ensures that the scenario is ready to use in your environment.

Step 2:

You can now test and ensure that you get the scenario under control for your environment. After testing you can easily go live and run the scenario in a schedule or, if desired, continuously. We inform you about the state of the scenario via our dashboard!
